Our first Trip to Glamis is this weekend and we are just about ready.

The guys at Southwest Motorsports know all about the dunes and the parts to "keep you Riding," so my bike is ready for the sand!!!

Here's my paddle tire, and the flag/whip mount on the left.  it just bolts on and we'll also made a zip tie look at the fender to have the flag go through.  I'll put that on when we get there.  It's an 8 paddle tire.  Should be the best mid range tire no matter what the sand conditions are.

Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area Permits

Southwest Motorsports also happens to have the best deals on Imperial Sand Dunes Permits.   So we got the required camping/parking pass weekly permit.  This is a  per vehicle fee and anything up to any size like RV and monster trucks are o-ak.  It was $25 for a weekly permint.  You can get a yearly for $90.  .

OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) tags for the Ride

You must also have a NON-Resident OHV permit if you aren't a resident of California.  I'm not sure what Californians need to get.

Well thats about it.  Time to go roost some sand and grill and hang out with a bunch of Friends That Ride.

We will get there around 9pm Thursday night and be riding/partying all weekend!

SEE YOU AT THE DUNES!
