just a note to let everyone know that the next big feature we'll be getting is

photo galleries for our profiles. 

should be within a week or so.  everyone send MENTALSWITCH messages and if we bug him enough it will be done!!! 

hahaha.

first version is up.  post your suggestions in here.  i have a couple already.  like 'next' and 'previous' once you're already in looking at a picture.....

Hey Everyone....  Just an update on Galleries.....

We are adding some cool new features and trying to make it as simple as possible to do things on the site like add your photo galleries.

Please give me feedback on whats hard to understand or if you have good ideas to make things better.

- We've added an FAQ page where we will try to address common questions.  It's listed in the dropdown under ABOUT FTR.

- Will try to do more updates in this forum as we are working hard at new features.

We needed a link in your USERNAME menu for Inbox....

So I've added that, and It shows you how many UNREAD messages you have.

we just changed the URL/ADDRESS to user profiles.

now you can just link to:  www.friendsthatride.com/%username%

ie mine is:  www.friendsthatride.com/petemaster5000

Hey everyone.  Please let us FTR developers know what features on here need work.  I know we can make lots of imporovmenets, so please give us feedback on whats not totally easy to use, questions you have on any part of the site and it's functions, or any suggestions.

UPDATE in Messges.....

I've changed the order of the messages once you are in a thread.  i thought it's best (and more common) to have the newest messages at the top.    

Let me know if you like this better or not, and why.

so why is it different in forums and the newest is at the end?   

i dont know.  I think forums have always been that way.  In forums the new messages are always at the bottom and I think thats more standard in forum threads so you can read from front to back like a book.

Let us know what you like for stuff like this.  A SQL query can list data how ever we want  ;)

Thanks to Jernster for pointing out a issue with displaying age incorrectly on profile pages. 

This has been fixed.

Today we fixed a bug with the profile filed:  'RELATIONSHIP STATUS'.

It wasn't being saved in the database correctly or being displayed since the field had a NULL value.

If you want your relationship status to display just go edit your profile and set it to what you want.
