With the formation of a new social network things like this are going to happen and we will resolve them immediately.

Yesterday we had a robot get into our internal messaging system with an account and sent a SPAM email to all users.  

The user is:  LAURA20 and the account been deleted and so have all the messages in your inbox from this fake user.

We are looking into how to prevent this in the future.

For now please just beware of possible tricks to get your email address.  Thats all this was.  It was not a security breach that could have stolen any information or anything so dont worry about that.

Sorry for the confusion if you thought she was a real chick that was really interested in you!!

Yesterday we added a new CAPTCHA so robots can't create fake accounts.  This same captcha is also used when posting comments.  It's much nicer than the crappy ones where you have to type the words on the image that you can't read.  Ours just makes you click a few helmets.   Should solve the problem.
