Ok everyone... What insurance companies are the best for motorcycle insurance?

I know there are a lot of factors. Age, driving record, where you live etc...  I myself have a clean record and use: State Farm.  It's pretty cheap because I'm over 30 and have a clean record, but WAAAAY more expensive here in Phoenix than it was in Denver.  Like my insurance went from 30/month to 70/month.  I thinks it's because there's a lot more theft down here.

*** Everyone should look into motorcycle insurance quotes every once in a while.  You could save money.

Does anyone have Geico?  Are they good? How about progressive

What is everyone else paying?

Lol yea I go through state farm they go by cc not class. So might or might not be cheaper if you have a slow cruiser like a vmax for example lol. Progressive is outrageous though.

shit bitch, lost the whole crew today on the way back down from mt evans.  I think you'd be surprised how well that bike handles in the mountains.  btw I use usaa and it's $320 for 6 months

nice job tiny.  what is USAA insurance?  i've never heard of that.

it can only be used by military or ex military, but they are more than just insurance.  it's also a bank.  I like them, cheapest insurance for my bike by far.  I looked around and everyone else wants to charge like 600 boners for 6 months

tiny you got lucky to lose me. you just did something stupid that i wouldnt do but i caught back up with you

tiny2183 AUG 3 2009 8:08 AM

yea but I had slowed down, I would've made it back to town ahead of you if I had kept on it.  and it's all about who can be crazier.....lol

tiny2183 AUG 3 2009 8:08 AM

I was also afraid if I kept on it I was going to be pushing it back to town as low on fuel as I was

 hi,

i carry american family on everything.  after being in a head on crash last year i can say, even if they are not the cheapest, i am a loyal customer.  they never even batted an eye at the medical bills, and the other guy was uninsured.

a couple of things i brought away from that experience.... my uninsured motorist coverage was 50k and my insurance was 50k, that went very quickly in a 2 week stay, physical therapy and follow ups.  it was well over that by the time it was all said and done.  there was simply not enough with standard insurance to cover the expenses.

if your bike is customized this does not add to the book value, you have to get a rider for paint, chrome etc if your company allows.  also, for just a few more dollars a month on your insurance can often bump your coverage into the 7 figure range.  ours is now bumped, just incase.

have a great day.
