Fork Seal Replacement

I just  bought a 99 YZ250 smoker.  I want to change out the seals myself and save the $160 labor.  Has anybody done this themself?  is it as bad as I hear?  I'm pretty mechanically inclined so i can follow the instructions but just want to see if im over my head with this.  Anybody?
