Colored Tires?

So I was thinking why I've never seen a colored tire so I did some research.

They did exist, and maybe still do.  A company called TomoHawk makes them, here is their motorcycle tire gallery page.  I'm not sure where you can get them either.  I found a few threads in forums about them, and most of the comments were that they suck... (worse than shenko one guy said) and that they are gay.  "Fruit Loops" was a term refering to these tires I read today.

So anyway I was just wondering what people think.  Other concerns were that they would be a nightmare to keep clean.  I'll probably stick to black myself, but kinda neat these are out there.

These green ones with the splotches are pretty sweet:

Normally I love orange, but on a yellow rim?

And no they don't smoke the color of the tire, but this looks really cool!

I heard they suck. But i will say that the shinko tires i got now are the best i ever used real sticky

yeah, pretty much what I got from it is that the rubber is harder and because of the color ingredients and can't be as sticky.  so yeah.  They suck.   some of them look cool tho.

meh, might be fun for a show bike that stays in the trailer all the time, otherwise I wouldn't touch it...

Harder rubber may mean longer life (which I like!), but if my safety is compromised by it (during rain riding for example) then heck no.

works for a theme bike also, but If used look dirty all the time.

I'm runnin' Michelin pilot race. Sticky as hell and don't last for shit, fun for pushin hard in the curves, but scary in the rain...
