A 45-year-old woman was learning how to ride her motorcycle Monday when she lost control and crashed through a plate glass window in a vacant warehouse in Mesa.

Police said the unidentified woman's husband was teaching her in a parking lot near University Drive and Alma School Road.

It was around 6:40 p.m. when she lost control of the motorcycle and crashed through a planter, ran over a curb and went through the plate glass window of a vacant warehouse nearby, police said.

The woman was taken to Scottsdale Osborne Hospital where she was treated for a broken right leg and a broken left wrist.

Yeah they have schools for that, there's one at the Indoor Swap Meet actually every saturday, lol. What's worse is that because it was her husband, she will probably nev er try to ride again :(

I wounder haw big of a bike it was.....Reminds me of the 1st time I rode a dirt bike when I was kid.

Didn't know anything about riding and I was able to take off and up some gears and next thing I know I'm trying to turn in soft dirt, wrong gear and ran through a big ars bush....wel the bike made it through. I got cought up on it and fell off the back....good times.....

Thats what I get for being way too small for a 250 in the 1st place and not knowing anything.....I was lucky thats all that happened.
