Sounds like she could have pulled in the front brake hard thinking it was the clutch.  I heard shes a brand new rider.

have you been so some bike nights moody?  Help post some flyers and info in the bike nights section in your region.  It's all broken down now, so should work pretty good.

I would like to get an organized bike night together somewhere here in Chandler or the Phoenix area of Arizona, I know a lot of people who like to ride and I'm good at networking and would like to see what I could get going for meetings, events, and organized rides. So I would like to put together a club of riders, guy's and girls that like to ride and have fun. I can be contacted at: jeffhexamer@hotmail.com If anyone has any question or ideas as to doing this.

Hex, great plan.  Usually bike nights are sponsored by a bar/restaurant, or a dealership.  I'm hoping to get some organized rides going as well once it cools down a bit.  For the summer I'm hard at work on features on this site to help us do more stuff like that....  At that point I'd love to get some official "Friends That Ride" group rides going.

until then, I'd love it if you start a new thread for BIKE NIGHTS in the bikes nights south-west region and just get some interest going and see if anyone has any hookups for locations to meet that have food, and start rides from there once it cools down.

Glad to have you on the site!!!

This site has a list of biker-friendly bars, grills and restaurants.  Hope this helps!  Plus, I found a few more that I'll post in the forums.

Hey Pete there was susposed to been  a bike night meet up tonight at Rock Bottom Brewery in Ahwatukee that got canceled due to lack of people that did not RSVP. I'm in a few bike groups and I'm gonna see about posting an FTR Banner up on or meetup groups page and I think I'm gonna start up a group on FTR to see what I can get going. There are a lot of bike groups on Meetup.com and I think if we could get FTR going with Meetup some how would be a good thing.

Sure we could do that Pete and like I said I'm good at networking and I know a lot of people as well as bars & clubs to hold events and get togethers, I also have a friend who owns his own silk screening business, set up to do large projects & orders for hats & shirts if you decide on getting any shirts done up and I can do the art work & design for them. If you want to get together I could come out to you but would prefer to do it during the daytime some day.
