I have an 07 love it.  Anybody heard anything on the 09?  Ive read articles and the complaints are peg viabrations and that it does everything well but nothing the best.  All accross the board its a great bike but some of the newer ones handle better and so on.  Motorcycle.com even rated the R1 higher even though it has power of a 750.  Quarter mile times werent even in the 9s and the gixxer has 12 more horsepower, is lighter, and had a better track time.  Im not complaining its about time the R1 got its shit together but I thought the idea of being a better bike was to be the fucking fastest.  Dunno any comments Ive only read a few articles on both.

I read an article where the R1 scored the lowest but they did say that you had the most confidence at the track on it, and the honda kicked everyones ass....so idk

as always the zx10 is better then the gsxr

moodswing JUL 20 2009 10:07 AM

The gixxer and the zx got almost identical numbers.  Delete the stupid ones like looks and cool factor wtf(opinions).  All that matters is the power haha jk.  All the bikes are way close but I will tell you that the 1000rr is not the best looking lol wtf?  Its a bad mother fucker but its ugly as fuck.

Hey I can attest for the brakes and the power on the CBR1000RR, It had enough power to take my ass up over 150, and the brakes stopeed it quick enough to throw me 20 yard over the bars.

psyko JUL 30 2009 6:07 AM

guys kawi and suzuki have been the same company shareing parts since the 80's and publicly announce that in the early 2000's

petemaster5000 JUL 30 2009 6:07 AM

no kidding pysko?  I did not know that.

and tummy, what happened on that 1000RR?  was that your crash up by blackhawk a few years ago or is that a new one i didn't hear about?

moodswing JUL 30 2009 12:07 PM
Sharing what parts? Nothing on the new sport bikes are the same.....maybe fasteners
Alfy JUL 30 2009 11:07 PM

If you watch twist the throttle it says nothing about suzuki and kawasaki sharing.

moodswing JUL 31 2009 6:07 AM

Dirtbikes in the 1990s shared shit.....not sportbikes....just looked it up

petemaster5000 JUL 31 2009 6:07 AM

Moody, pls post some real info.  i'm interested in the details.

Tummy AUG 2 2009 1:08 AM

Yes that was my big crash, I promised my girls I would not buy another sportbike till they moved out.
