Howdy all,

Great site for the 2-wheel community.

I am a new rider and enjoying every minute of it.  My Bull, bike, is a 2001 Yamaha XVS1100 Classic.  Got it used.

Very awesome for my first bike I feel.  My goal is to have a Victory- Vegas Jackpot one day.  

I turn 40 this year so starting out in this game a bit late. 

Had my first crash already.  Rookie mistake.  Got back on and finished the ride.  My wife was not to happy.  LoL

 

Hey Kowboy!!!  Welcome to the site.  That's awesome that you got your first crash out of the way already, AND that you got right back on!  way to go.  Remember, there are 2 kinds of motorcycle riders.  One's that have crashed, and one's that are going to.  :)

Nice man. I was told by so many people that most go down in like 18 weeks are something so koodos for not eatin it bad and getting back on. My buddy Sneak ate it hard flipped over the front and everything. All gouged out and sht. fn trooper got back on and is still burning fuel.

Least you’re not starting out on a liter sport bike. The XVS1100 is nice. Looked at a few myself. When you go to buy your Vic make sure you look into maintenance fees and if you get the service plans check and see if it’s transferable. My Bro-n-law got a Vic and he now pays up the nose in maintenance fees as his Service plan doesn't carry over to other shops. He moved out to Oklahoma.
